CourseGenius is an AI-powered platform that enables users to create interactive educational courses from various source materials. The Service includes but is not limited to:

• AI-powered course generation from uploaded materials
• Interactive learning blocks (quizzes, simulations, flowcharts, flashcards)
• AI tutor assistance and audio summaries
• Progress tracking and gamification features

3. User Accounts

To access certain features of the Service, you must register for an account. You agree to:

• Provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration
• Maintain and update your account information to keep it accurate
• Maintain the security of your password and identification
• Accept all responsibility for activities that occur under your account
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Service to:

• Upload, post, or transmit any content that is illegal, harmful, threatening, abusive, or violates any laws

6. AI-Generated Content

CourseGenius uses artificial intelligence to generate course content. You acknowledge that:

• AI-generated content may contain errors or inaccuracies
• You are responsible for reviewing and validating all AI-generated content before use
• CourseGenius does not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or suitability of AI-generated content
• You should not rely solely on AI-generated content for critical educational or professional purposes

7. Rate Limits and Usage

CourseGenius implements rate limits to ensure fair usage and system stability. Current limits include:

• Maximum of 3 course generations per day per user
• Limits on AI tutor interactions, flashcard generation, and audio summaries
• File size limits for uploaded materials (50MB maximum)

We reserve the right to modify these limits at any time. Excessive usage may result in temporary or permanent account suspension.

8. Payment and Subscriptions

Certain features of the Service may require payment. By subscribing, you agree to:

• Pay all fees associated with your subscription
• Automatic renewal of your subscription unless cancelled
• No refunds for partial subscription periods unless required by law
• Price changes with 30 days notice for existing subscribers

9. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account and access to the Service immediately, without prior notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is harmful to other users, us, or third parties.

You may terminate your account at any time by contacting us or using the account deletion feature in your settings.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, COURSEGENIUS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS OR REVENUES, WHETHER INCURRED DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA, USE, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES.
